Ford Sustainability – changing how vehicles are made

We’re committed to making the world a better place.

Last year, we celebrated 22 years of sustainability reporting by setting ambitious new goals to help us make a positive impact on the communities where we live and work. We owe our success in this area to the amazing people behind our progress: our skilled employees, our dedicated dealers, suppliers and partners, our local communities and our valued customers. They are front and center in everything we do. In these unprecedented times we are reminded of how fragile this world can be.

But we also are reminded of how powerful it is when we work together to drive human progress. These beliefs confirm our current actions to address climate change and compel us to continue to change our behavior in profound and lasting ways. Ford is the only full line U.S. automaker committed to doing its part to reduce CO2 emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement and working with California for stronger vehicle greenhouse gas standards.

As William Clay Ford, Jr., Executive Officer said, “Global challenges, from climate change and public health to the physical and social barriers to mobility, are shaping the way we do business. How we navigate these challenges will be critically important on our journey to becoming the world’s most trusted company.”
